You will build a strong technical foundation while improving your overall fitness — no prior martial arts experience is needed.

Ask Us on WhatsAppA single taekwondo session can burn 500-800 calories. The combination of dynamic kicks, footwork and conditioning drills provides a full-body workout that builds lean muscle and improves cardiovascular health.
Learn practical self-defence techniques that work in real situations. Taekwondo's emphasis on powerful kicks and fast strikes gives you the tools to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Physical training is one of the most effective ways to manage stress. The focused nature of taekwondo forces you to be fully present, clearing your mind and leaving you feeling refreshed after every class.
Taekwondo's emphasis on high kicks and dynamic movements naturally improves your flexibility and joint mobility. Research also shows that regular taekwondo practice leads to increased bone mineral density — helping to protect against osteoporosis as we age.
Taekwondo builds more than physical strength — it sharpens your mental resilience. The discipline of regular training, goal-setting through belt progression and mastering new techniques all contribute to greater self-confidence and improved mental well-being.
Training alongside fellow adults creates genuine friendships and a sense of belonging. Our classes provide a welcoming, supportive environment where beginners feel comfortable and experienced practitioners continue to grow together.
While a gym membership gives you access to equipment, taekwondo delivers a complete workout that keeps you motivated long-term. A single session can burn 500–800 calories — comparable to high-intensity interval training — while also teaching you practical self-defence skills, improving coordination and building mental discipline. Unlike repetitive gym routines, every taekwondo class is different, making it easier to stay consistent and enjoy the process of getting fit.

Taekwondo is an excellent full-body workout. A typical session combines cardio, strength training, flexibility work and coordination drills. You can burn 500-800 calories per class while learning a practical skill — making it far more engaging than a regular gym session.
Not at all. We have students ranging from teens to adults in their 40s and 50s. Taekwondo training can be adapted to your fitness level and physical capabilities. Many adults find that starting taekwondo actually helps them feel younger by improving flexibility, balance and overall energy levels.
We recommend at least 2 classes per week for steady progress. If you are on the unlimited lessons package, you can train as often as you like. Consistent training is key to building technique and fitness.
Yes! We offer a special parents rate of $100 per month (minimum 3 months) for parents whose children are already enrolled. It is a great way to bond with your child and stay fit at the same time. See our kids taekwondo classes for more details on children's programmes.

Yes. Taekwondo is one of the best self-defence classes in Singapore for learning practical striking techniques. You will develop powerful kicks, fast reflexes and situational awareness — all essential for real-world self-defence. Our curriculum includes dedicated self-defence drills alongside traditional taekwondo training.
Both are excellent martial arts, but they differ in focus. Taekwondo emphasises dynamic, powerful kicks and agility, while karate places more emphasis on hand techniques and close-range strikes. The difference between karate and taekwondo also extends to competition — taekwondo is an Olympic sport with full-contact sparring. For adults looking for a cardio-intensive workout with practical self-defence, taekwondo is an outstanding choice.
Taekwondo is highly effective for weight loss. A single class can burn 500–800 calories through a combination of kicks, drills and conditioning exercises. Unlike steady-state cardio, taekwondo alternates between high-intensity bursts and active recovery — similar to interval training — which helps boost your metabolism and burn fat more efficiently.
It depends on your goals, but taekwondo offers several advantages over a traditional gym workout. You get a full-body cardio and strength session, learn practical self-defence skills, and train in a motivating group environment — all in one class. Many adults find that taekwondo keeps them more consistent because every session is different and genuinely enjoyable, unlike repetitive gym routines.
Absolutely. There is no age limit for starting taekwondo. We have adult students across a wide range of ages, and our instructors tailor the training intensity to your fitness level. Many students who start in their 30s, 40s or 50s report significant improvements in flexibility, strength and overall well-being within just a few months of training.
Taekwondo is an excellent choice for women. Our classes provide effective self-defence training in a safe, supportive environment. Many of our female students train for fitness, confidence and practical self-defence skills. Our instructor Master Chelsea Sim, a SEA Games Gold Medallist, is a testament to what women can achieve in the sport.
The benefits of taekwondo for adults are wide-ranging. Physically, you will improve cardiovascular fitness, build lean muscle, increase flexibility and strengthen bones. Mentally, regular training builds discipline, reduces stress and boosts confidence. Socially, you will join a welcoming community of like-minded adults. Unlike many other forms of exercise, taekwondo also teaches you practical self-defence skills that last a lifetime.
